'Styles of women’s’ winter coats

This season has brought with it an array of winter coats. One particular style that is proving to be extremely popular on the style agenda is the cape. Some of the more common styles of the cape include the capelet, cloaks and shawls, stoles and wraps.

The capelet offers a form of outerwear that opens up at the front and houses no sleeves but instead has slits where the arms would have normally been placed. There are two styles of this season’s capelet: one comes in the shape of a full circle and another takes the form of a straight shaped style. Each does the same job in covering the shoulders and judging by the autumn and winter runways, this is most definitely a trend that is perfect for the forthcoming colder months.

Cloaks are similar to the cape, however they generally appear longer in length and the typically styled capes finish mid-calf but they are also available as long as ankle-length. Cloaks also tend to be completely sleeveless and they are really handy pieces to throw around you as a great outerwear piece.

Shawls, wraps and stoles are usually wrapped around the shoulders in a loose fashion and are a great investment for evening wear. In the past they have often been created in a luxurious fabric such as fur, brocade or silk. Both designers Ralph Lauren and Luella showcased their own takes on such a piece, with Luella updating the standard fur stole and Ralph Lauren revealing a series of re-vamped evening styles. offer all the latest winter styles at great, affordable prices.

A kiss from me to you...xoxo

As promised

Just like I promised, I was going to post more pictures from my wedding. Now that I have the professional pictures, I have so many pictures to share. First, these are some of the pictures from the ceremony and reception. Next week I will post some of the traditional version of the wedding. Hope you like it... :)
This is during our first dance. We danced to "I Can't Stop Loving You" by Kem, but the we added a twist of different songs from Soulja boy, to Nas to Psquare--a lot of people were surprised! :)
Doing the Soulja boy dance LOL!
The bridesmaids' dresses were made by tailor Kenia--each bridesmaid and I came up with a style that fit each personality and body shape.
I customized the flower girls dress @ Pegeen
This is part of the candy buffet section. Can't barely remember how many times I had to visit candy stores just to get the type and color of the candies that I wanted. My wonderful planner Briana @ Nouvelle set it up perfectly
love the was a mix of velvet cake, coconut, and french butter cream--the same people "Sugar Bakery" made my 21st birthday cake.

Thanks for all the wishes and sweet comments from the other post :)

In my world

It is not fun at all having a root canal done. Since Friday that I had a root canal done, I have been in so much pain. The sad part is that I can barely eat what I want to eat. My meals are mainly liquid base or fufu, or golden morn :(

Again, I went for a friend's bridal shower on Saturday. They had so much food that I was salivating just watching all these foods that I could not eat.
Even though that I am feeling much better today, I am still not able to eat any food that requires chewing :(
Gosh! I love and miss food!

Besides that, marriage life is great. I have a wonderful husband and am grateful to God for that... :)

Hope every is having a nice "Labor Day" weekend. Thanks for all your love & support...xoxo
