HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!

This Memorial Day, I went hiking with my hubby and we had breakfast at our favorite Hilton hotel--I think I am seriously obsessed with their veggie omelet & french toast. :)

Later on, I went to see the movie "Hangover 2" with Bisi & Konzo. The movie is hilarious - impossible to stop laughing . It is definitely a must-see movie! Love it!

Into the blue

Hey! How is everyone doing today? It is nice and sunny outside. I went hiking earlier and now I am hungry. :D  This weekend has been calm and fun so far.

Outfit: H&M maxi dress & bag; F21 glasses, Old Navy sandals

I am having a restful weekend. I have been so busy that on Saturday I slept from 4p to 9p. I usually don't take naps; so you can guess what happened after I woke up at 9pm...I stayed up until the early morning.

Fancy Dresses

As the summer approaches, so does my creative mind. Seriously, the weather makes me really excited especially now that school is over. During the summer, I love hosting different types of parties/events with friends. I want to organize a costume party where my friends will be dressed in fancy dress ball.

After looking at the different collections of fancy dress costumes, I don't know whether to go with the  70s fancy dress; or be an 80s baby and wear one of the 80s fancy dress.

What's in your bag?

I was tagged by my friend/blogger Adaku of ThirdWordProfashional to see what is in my bag. After I came back from the movies, I decided to do a quick post including a look at what is in my bag.

CONTENTS:
1. MAC Ruby Woo lipstick & Mac studio fix: I carry a red lipstick with me at all time. I am obsessed with red lipstick.

2. Victoria's Secret Lipgloss: I hate chap lips, and like it popping LOL

3. Hand Sanitizer: I have seen people touch or do nasty thing with their hands that I just have to have one constantly

4. Pen: I am always signing something or writing down ideas and inspirations

5. Ipod/Ipad: Ipod: I need music especially at work. Normally, I don't carry my Ipad, accept if I am going somewhere that will likely require me to wait for a long time. I have different categories of inspiring photos

6. Magazine: I happen to have NYLON magazine today. I always have a magazine or book in my bag

7. Blackberry & charger: I have a hate/love relationship with this phone. It is constantly hitting the floor--thanks to my phone cover, it is still acting slightly normal.

8. Wallet: It was a gift from my friend. It has everything from bank cards, gift cards to receipts

9. Cookies: You will always find some form of snack in my bag because I am always hungry :D

10. Umbrella: It has been raining constantly here. You just never know when it will rain

11. Bluetooth: You can't drive with you phones here, so this has become my necessity

Fuschia + Purple

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. This weekend was a fun filled one. Four of my friends graduated--one from a nursing program and three received their MBA degrees. It was a graduation "party/dinner" filled weekend.

The weekend started with Tosin's graduation. It was a fun, calm and tear jerking night with friends. To top off the weekend, Saturday was Chi & Cenie's graduation party. The party started out calmly with friends and family members. Later on, the ladies kicked up the party with dancing and karaoke. Definitely, everyone was feeling "Nice" LOL

Red Carpet Style: Billboard Award 2011

Quick post: These are some of  red carpet styles at Billboard Music Award. I love Rihanna's make up and all white out--simply chic. If you remember, the previous post was all about wearing and mixing all white outfit. Love how she paired her all white with nude pointy-toe pumps. On another note, I can't stop stalking those Christian Louboutin's daffodil pumps that Fergie was wearing.

Birthday Celebration

Yeah! It's my birthday

Yeah! It's my birthday! Well, few hours ago May 15th :-) I had a fun birthday weekend with my girlfriends in New York. I can't wait to share the pictures from my birthday weekend. Before then, I took these fun pre-birthday pictures in anticipation of my actual birthday. It was fun blowing up the balloons and walking and getting my feet wet.

Throughout this weekend, it has been non-stop fun activities. I have barely slept in the past 2 days due to the fun surrounding my birthday weekend; so I am going to head off to the dream land. Enjoy the pictures and keep checking back for NY pictures ;-)
