It's all fun and play

www.jadore-fashion.com

In my previous post, I mentioned that I was in Montego Bay for our anniversary.  Been here for couple of days, I have already abused most Jamaican dishes--my favorite is definitely curry goat with white rice and plantains. I am a self proclaimed foody! I visited the restaurant "The Natives" so much that the waitress recognized us and remembered the dishes we always ordered.

On this day, I was feeling relaxed and ready for more fun in Jamaica. The morning before hitting the town, I decided to whip up some quick breakfast. I am not a chef; but I can definitely hold my stand. :)

Vacation leftovers

Black & White

This week has gone by so fast.  I can't believe that half of the year is over. I am excited that I have a long weekend--thanks to the July 4th holiday. I will use this weekend to see as many movies as possible especially, "Transformers". I cannot believe that I have not seen "Bridesmaids". Has anyone seen it? What are your thoughts?

Day 2: Punta Cana Vacation--A Night Out

www.jadore-fashion.com
I am back from vacation and will continue to share outfits I wore in The Dominican Republic.
www.jadore-fashion.com
This outfit is from another day at Punta Cana. I wore the striped skirt in the evening to a dinner date with my hubby at one of the resort's restaurant called Kyoto. I love Japanese food and I visited this restaurant two nights in a row. I love their fried ice-cream. Has anyone tried fried ice-cream?

I love stripes and when it comes to wearing stripes, horizontal stripes give a wider/bigger appearance , while vertical stripes give a leaner look. Therefore, we should be aware of what type of stripes to wear.

Bon Voyage

Since the destination of my trip was a surprise, I could not post this post earlier because my husband could read it and the whole surprise will be over.

When it comes to packing for trips, I really suck in that department because I always over pack. Then again, my philosophy is that it is better to take more than less--learnt from experience. These are some of the things I packed for my trip.

Day 1: London

Out and About

The pictures were taken the next day after I got to London. We all went to the hall where my husband's niece's birthday was going to be held. I was still dealing with time difference + jet lag, but I was ready to enjoy my visit.

.
Hope everyone's week is going well.
More London pictures in the coming posts.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
Thanks in advance for you comments

Life is a beach...

After busy weeks of 12hrs work per day, school, and countless of assignments/cases, I needed a break; so, we decide to head to Miami.

I had a blast with my hubby and my friend Ivelisse and her friends. I was also beyond tanned--even my co-workers noticed! We spent most of our day at the beach, and constant visits to Newscafe for pasta and dancing away the hard work all night ;)

After a nice brunch at Nikki beach<--love it!

I couldn't stop browsing & twitting--follow me on Twitter here more pics of Miami coming ;)

I am supposed to wear a costume to work on Friday, but I have even bought one yet--any suggestion????

What are your costumes for Halloween???

As am blogging, am watching Michael Jackson's funeral coverage. I still get this "not-so-true" feeling--I can't believe Michael is dead; but his music will sure live forever.
On another note, I went to Atlantic City for July 4th with friends. I really enjoyed Borgata. Despite the fact that I am not so intrigued by gambling, my first rolette game, I played my $1 chip and got $20--not bad for a first try :D Hope everyone had a lovely 4th of July.

All the best with the rest of the week.
